The star of the show is the meticulous hand-stitching using a technique called fil coupé (which means “cut threads”) – so each woven stripe has its own unique fringe. Handcrafted by a group of master weavers in Kannur, India, each pillow is made in a fair trade environment. From start-to-finish, it takes about half a day to complete one pillow.
